Hello Hertel Jacobs via African Heritage....What Happened to Wednesday?
Monday was a Holiday.... and then I sipped Tea on Tuesday. But where was I on Wednesday!!! LOL
Oh well, it was like the warm blood running through my veins. It was time for me to take a drive - antique junk-hunting that is! And for my newest passion! And boy oh boy did I find a beauty! The bottom label said Hertel Jacobs China (Barvaria Germany)!
And I consider it a very unusual find! I'd love to hear from a hundred other collectors if you have this set! I surveyed the Replacements site... but it was a bit much and not enough descriptors.
I googles out "warrior with spear", African man, Black Collectible,.... jungle-dance-spear-Black Man??
None the less and all the more . . . .
The cup shape is almost triangular --- the first in my collection!

Now..... PTL ... who would have thought I could have found my African American Heritage in a tea-cup! I think I'll ad this post to my Family genealogy blog (Lest We Forget) !!!

Castleton China @ home !!
or @ work . . . . Purchased the teal blue-green cups at an Estate Sale last April 2014. I've also seen the pretty pink Castleton China ... and was tempted to buy a cup or two!!! But a-las; I resisted for the time being!

Comfort Tea ~ Tuesday Tea Time
Hello Fellow Tea Drinkers..... Regarding the highs and lows of life.....
The Holiday was a treasure.... but there's always a thief waiting in the wings. So I'm sharing this little saying that literally saved me from insanity. Just let me say.... it may sound horrendous but I am oh so frank - - - I've been married 40 yrs plus.... and I really don't know how I'm gonna make the next 50-60 yr mark! I might have to shoot the old boy....

I might have to shoot the old boy....
But the tea pot poem ever-so-simply says.....
"Tea steeps..... and I retreat"
and thus I retreated back into a place of grace & sanity..... sipping until desired inner strength was reached !!!
Comfort Tea

SOLD.....two cup and saucer sets...... need I say more!!!
Royal Vale........................... It was always my habit to drink from a light cup that I can see the bottom of what I'm drinking. So I don't really like flowers and print inside my cups! This larger handle and shape fits my hand nicely!
I googled around and will share information on these later.... with more show and tell on my display!

Tea Time ~ 2 Live Simply !
All Things Royal !
It's the First Tuesday in the Month of May.......2014 ~

And today.... with equally supreme joy!!! (Thank you Lord) !!! I drink from an overflowing cup of thankfullness and joy in the simple things in life!!!

You see me! Enjoying my te @ work today! My really, really favorite color is BLACK!
Yep... in so may ways!

Tipping my teacup....
To the stolen girls of Nigeria...... Peace !!!
This little beauty is abt $24.00 @ the 50th Western Antique shop!
I'm resisting the instant urge to purchase single teacups....
After all -- like shoes (which I don't collect)... ---
A person can only wear one pair at a time...
and I can only drink out of one cup at a time!
So, I'm kinda holding off on buying... collecting. PLUS - I have to get a SHOWCASE for my cups!
AND who knows... the price my go on sale (or another such item might appear)!
These wonderful collectibles (below) were @ the... I'm hoping I remember right...
Gosh, where did I photo... these intend-to-buy items...!!! ???
Wishing..... (things would be) Well .... for Our GIRLS!

Happy Czech Tea-Thursday!
Soon I will be done....
(as the old Negro spiritual used t say...) with the troubles of de'world!
Soon I will be done with my overdosing of excitement of this phase of my life
I found this expensive large wooden table @ $125 on N Western Ave @ an antique shop....
Maybe later in life!
But this is the lovely Czech Bernadotte Procelain Expresson Cup/Saucer I bought!
Wildlife series: I got the bunny rabbit! It was marked half off of $24.00 price tag!
I decided this will be my "AT HOME" teacup! I'm thinking about sending my TX sister-girlfriend a special Teacup gift to start off her retirement!
I'd really love to engage my women-friends in the tea-time - oft lost social activity!
A great means of slowing down to live each day fully - simple beauty!!!
